Heather T. Kolbly, Esq.

Ms. Kolbly is a graduate of Santa Clara University School of Law in Santa Clara, California. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Kolbly earned a B.A. in psychology from California State University, Northridge, and an M.S. in School Psychology from San Jose State University. She was a School Psychologist in the public school system for six years before starting law school.

As a School Psychologist, Ms. Kolbly enjoyed working with children, their parents, and school administrators to solve learning and behavior problems. She ultimately decided to enter the legal profession because it afforded her a wider range of ways to assist people in solving their problems.

Ms. Kolbly brings all of the qualities she developed as a School Psychologist to her law practice: Thoroughness in her work, assertiveness in representing clients' needs, an up-front and truthful manner in working with clients, compassion for her client's position, and excellent verbal and written skills. Ms. Kolbly also has an unending vivacious and enterprising interest in the law and how our legal system works, and in fighting for the rights of others.

Prior to founding the Law Offices of Heather T. Kolbly, P.C., Ms. Kolbly gained litigation experience as an Intern Attorney at the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office before taking a position as an associate attorney in a small civil practice firm. She has experience in all areas of law in which her firm practices.

Ms. Kolbly is licensed to practice law in Washington State. She is a member of the Washington State Bar and the King County Bar.
